🚨State of Emergency Declared-Snowstorm🚨
Supervisor Lembo has declared a State of Emergency in anticipation of this weekend’s snowstorm.
🕛 Effective:
Saturday, January 24 at 6:00PM through Tuesday, January 27 at 6:00PM.
🚫 Travel Restrictions:
During this period, travel on town roads is limited to emergency vehicles only. All non-emergency travel is prohibited. Please allow town employees and emergency responders to do their jobs safely.
🚓 From the Plattekill Police Department:
• Per town code, parking on town roads is prohibited once snow has fallen. Cars left on roads will be ticketed or towed.
• It is illegal to push or shovel snow onto town roads from private property.
🧾 Prepare Now:
Residents are encouraged to complete preparations as soon as possible, including refilling any necessary prescriptions.
